Lois Albez
Lois grew up in the coastal city of Recife, Brazil, literally surrounded by music. Her father, a seasoned
performer himself, stressed its importance to all eleven of his children, and by the age of nine, Lois was singing
and playing the guitar at Sunday church services.
After relocating to Los Angeles in 1995, she quickly found success in such venues as the Hollywood Bowl,
House of Blues, Spago, and famed jazz venue The Baked Potato. She also established a presence on the
corporate scene. She has entertained at large and small events for such A-list celebrities as Jay Leno, Steven
Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Kevin Costner, Burt Bacharach, Quincy Jones, Sting, Barbra Streisand, Goldie Hawn,
and many others.
An accomplished bassist, guitarist, and songwriter as well as singer, Lois brings heat and passion to a wide
range of styles including samba, bossa nova, and salsa. Her diverse repertoire features material all the way from
jazz standards, to torch songs, to R&B classics, to today’s dance hits.
Whether performing alone or accompanied by outstanding musicians...whether singing in Portuguese, English,
Spanish, Italian, or French... Lois Albez packs talent, polish, charm, and international sophistication into one
small, soulful package.

Yvonne Washington
From her debut at the age of 5, singing at the rodeo, to her performances in China, Europe and The Netherlands,
“Miss Yvonne” has a voice richly influenced by gospel, jazz, R&B, Motown, Big Band, pop and New Orleans
jazz. She recorded “Autumn in New York,” the title tune from the movie of the same name starring Richard Gere
and Winona Ryder. Giving up singing to raise her two daughters (“There were no nice clubs for a black lady to
sing in at that time...”) she vowed when they got older to never stop singing again. Sure, there are plenty of great
voices out there, but Yvonne’s voice comes jam packed with a personality to back it up and soul to keep you
wanting to hear more. She wasn’t born in Houston...but, we’re glad she got here as soon as she could.
